Mission Statement
It is time to refocus my energies. My original reason for joining substack was to share my writing with others. The tragic genocide in Gaza and our government’s complicity has diverted me from my original purpose. I will still engage with the ongoing tragedy but not here on substack. If you wish to engage with me on that topic feel free to find me on Facebook under the same name. I’m not hard to find. Here on substack I will try to focus on my writing which runs the gamut from poetry, short stories, autobiography, novels and essays. Some of my essays are political in nature and I will try to respond to sincere disagreements. I will not respond to derogatory and abusive comments and of course, I will be the arbiter of what’s derogatory and abusive. Depending on the severity of said abuse it might get you blocked.
I’m currently working on several new poems which I will publish here shortly. I’m also working on a novella which I can’t publish here because it contains graphic descriptions of acts some might find offensive but I will post the opening. If you wish to read the rest you can contact me. Last, I am going to begin the revision process on my memoirs, “An Examined Life.” I will publish excerpts during the process and after the revision process will be self publishing the book for anyone who may be interested.
